Aitme is Working With Barilla to Come Up with Pasta Dishes Perfect for a Robot
The company plans on installing 20 - 30 Aitme's by the end of next year.
Earlier this week, German startup Aitme showed off the latest version of their fully autonomous kitchen kiosk in a new promotional video (↑).
Aitme is among a wave of companies including SJW Robotics, Karakuri, RoboEatz and Nommi that are bringing fully autonomous cafeterias in a box to market. These machines store a number of different ingredients and assemble a variety of bowl-based meals on-demand.
It had been awhile since I checked in with the company, so I reached out to Aitme Founder Emanuel Pallua, who told me about some of the upgrades to their machine, how COVID is (and isn’t) driving interest in their robot, and how the company is working with Barilla.
