Delivers.AI Launching Robot Delivery in Madrid, Spain in January

Company is partnering with Glovo, Madrid Futuro and Goggo Network.

Delivers.AI’s sidewalk robots will begin making deliveries on the sidewalks of Madrid, Spain starting in January 2022. Delivers.AI Founder and CEO Ali Kutay Yarali posted an announcement about the move on Linkedin yesterday.

The Madrid deliveries will be conducted in partnership with speedy grocery delivery service, Glovo, autonomous mobility company Goggo, and the non-profit Madrid Futuro.

While Yarali’s post did say that Delivers.AI will be offering “10-minutes autonomous delivery service,” he didn’t provide further details such as which neighborhoods will be served or which restaurants and food retailers will participate. We reached out to Yarali to find out more.

Why This Matters

Yarali actually told us in an interview back in September that Delivers.AI was going to be launching in Madrid, though the initial launch was supposed to be October of this year, not January.
