Google Wing Launching its Drone Delivery in the Dalls Fort-Worth area of Texas This Week
Announcement comes less than a week after Flytrex launched its drone service in DFW.
The News
Google Wing announced today that it is launching its drone delivery service on April 7 in the city of Frisco and the town of Little Elm, both of which are in the Dallas Fort-Worth (DFW) area of Texas.
Wing’s drones will be staged at a Walgreens, and will deliver items from that store as well as ice cream from Blue Bell Creameries. The service will be available by invite only at first, before expanding to more customers.
The news comes less than a week after Flytrex officially launched its drone delivery service in Grandbury, also in the DFW area. Which Texas towns will want in on that sweet drone action next?
The Story
