The News

  • Makr Shakr will be installing two robot bartenders at the Changi Airport in Singapore towards the end of this year.

  • The installations are being installed at Lotte Corporation’s duty free shops in Terminals 2 and 3.

  • Makr Shakr says this will be the first-ever robot bartender installation at an airport and the first of its machines to be permanently installed in Asia.

The Story

As if having the world’s highest indoor waterfall, butterfly gardens and numerous art installations wasn’t enough for the world-famous Changi, now the airport is just showing off with not one but two robot bartenders from the Italian Makr Shakr.

Not to sound like a broken record, but if you want to see the future of food automation, look to airports.
