Ottonomy.IO Raises $3.3M, Launches Ottobot 2.0
New delivery robot has cool, modular garage door-like compartments.
Ottobots 2.0, Roll Out!
Robot delivery startup Ottonomy.IO announced today that it has raised $3.3 million in Seed funding. The round was led by Pi Ventures with participation from returning investor Connetic Ventures and Branded Hospitality Ventures and the Founder & CEO of Addverb Technologies, Sangeet Kumar. This brings the total amount of money raised by Ottonomy to $4.9 million.
At the same time, Ottonomy also announced the launch of its Ottobot 2.0, the latest version of its indoor/outdoor delivery robot. The new Ottobot features:
A new design with modular compartments
Cargo bays that use garage-style doors that open from the side, rather than popping the top, making contents insides more accessible
Four wheeled steering that can “crab” mode for increased dexterity
