The News
Piestro, which is developing a robotic pizza kiosk, has launched its third equity crowdfunding campaign.
Piestro had raised $5 million in previous crowdfunding efforts, and aims to raise $20 million with this latest campaign.
Piestro also has a joint venture with the 800 Degrees pizza chain dubbed 800° GO, which is looking to raise $10 million.

I guess if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Robotic pizza vending machine company Piestro is once again eschewing traditional venture capital and launching its third equity crowdfunding campaign. Piestro CEO Massimo Noja De Marco posted about the new fundraise on Linkedin today.
It’s not surprising to see De Marco and Co. head back to crowdfunding — he’s a big proponent of the funding mechanism, and Piestro is a Wavemaker Labs company, all of which do crowdfunding. The wrinkle is how this will intersect with Piestro’s other crowdfunding campaign, also happening right now.
