People dig numbers, so let’s dig into this stat from Pizza Marketing Quarterly’s awesomely named Pizza Power Report 2022 (emphasis mine):
Pandemic aside, the global pizza market will keep growing in 2022, according to the latest data from Euromonitor International. The worldwide pizza market should total $141.1 billion in sales in 2022, a 6.7% increase, according to Euromonitor’s projections.
Jinkies! That is a lot of, errr, dough (← dad joke!). So it’s no wonder that there are so many pizza robots being developed right now. Pizza is so popular that it was one of the first OttOmate Market Guides I created and the topic of the first OttOmate event!
This week saw some pizza robot news from the startup Nala Robotics and restaurant equipment heavyweight Middleby.
