SoftBank & Bunzl Partner up to Bring Cobotics to Spain

Say "hola" to cleaning and tray delivery robots

SoftBank Robotics UK - the EMEA arm of the technology conglomerate - announced a new partnership with Bunzl Distribution Spain, to bring the former’s line of “cobotics” (collaborative robotics) to the Iberian peninsula.

Bunzl is a supplier of janitorial supplies, tissue paper, chemicals, PPE & Safety workwear, cleaning machinery, personal care, catering disposable and professional tableware with a footprint across Europe. The company already offers select SoftBank Robotics devices in other European markets, such as the “Whiz” cleaning robot, available in the UK.

Besides the Whiz vacuum, SoftBank Robotics also manufactures the “Gambit” mist-sprayer, the tray-delivering “Keenbot,” and a drone for automatically inspecting the exterior of buildings.
