The News

  • Self-driving robots will be allowed on Korean sidewalks as soon as next year, thanks to changes being made to the law there, according to a story yesterday in Business Korea.

  • Revisions to the law will put autonomous robots on sidewalks two years ahead of the country’s original plan.

  • Korea’s robot-friendly moves comes just one month after the city of Toronto, Canada enacted a ban on similar sidewalk robots.
