The News

  • Yo-Kai Express, which makes a hot ramen dispensing vending machine, is now installed at Japan’s Haneda Airport outside of Tokyo.

  • The Yo-Kai is located on the first floor of Terminal 2 with meals costing 790 yen (~$6.55 USD at today’s exchange rate)

  • The move further illustrates the importance of airports as a target location for smart vending machine startups.

Airports are a key location for smart vending kiosks like Yo-Kai’s. Airports are filled with lots of people who want food quickly — the perfect scenario for a robot. Airports are also a deep part of Yo-Kai’s DNA.
