The Barney Robot Will Serve You Drinks at Night (and Coffee the Next Morning)
Switzerland drink automation strikes again!
Even the nicest bartender in the world wants nothing to do with you after closing time. After serving you mai tais all night, they wont be there the next morning with a hot cup of coffee to help get you back to life.
Barney the robot would be, however.
Technically, you’d need two Barney bots, but let’s not get too far in the weeds yet.
Barney Bar is a fully autonomous drink kiosk that uses a robotic arm to assemble and serve drinks. There are actually two versions of Barney: Barney Bar, to serve cocktails, beer, sparkling wine and more; and Barney Barista, to serve coffee drinks, soft drinks and more. Barney Bar holds 16 bottles, a half a dozen syrups, has its own ice machine, dispenses beer and sparkling wine, and will also dispense still and bubble water.
